The one that controls us.
According to some tale she once was the goddess of fortune who, despite all of her riches, was not content with her wealth. She was helplessly in love with a mortal man and in time decided to descent on earth to meet him. He, being completely oblivious of her origins, took her under his roof. Life was good for both of them, until the other gods took note of her disappearance from their realm. Angry due to her appearance on earth, they stripped her from her godly status. Now having lost her otherworldly beauty and reduced to the likes of an peasant, the man left her. She had to resort to begging for money and food, but after awhile she broke down. Having lost all hope and having become spiteful against the gods, she decided to give in and contact the underworlds demons. Her sincere longing for the fortunes in her realm caused her to gain the attention of the demon of greed. Her previous divine status allowed her to become the vessel for the demon to which she without hesitation agreed to, having been blinded by the promises of fortune it would bring her. However, the demon transformed her to the likes of itself and she became a horrendous slithering beast. In return she did receive the fortunes she so wished for, but was now cursed to eternal life of deceiving and manipulation to gain what she so wants. No army, or empire could touch her anymore however, as what kind of an army would kill its own empress?

I loved the story behind the picture and the picture (of course), though after a moment of watching the picture I wondered "Is she comfortable in that position?" Lol, it would be hard to accommodate such a long body!
