Escort mission (commission)

This was a commission for , of their character helping people evacuate a settlement that is being overrun by the amalgamate.

"Lightning was called into an off planet settlement after reports of people abandoning settlements began to crop up. Only a single concentration of buildings were left untouched and were still inhabited once he got there, however as the evacuation began the automated turrets suddenly came came online and began firing at something in the dark. In the dark he could not see it, but as the shooting began the forms that moved in the darkness became visible. The amalgamate had began its assault on this last settlement and having grown substantially off of the previous settlements the outlook for this one seemed grim. One form however rose above the rest within the army of the mutated horrors and it seemed to be fixated on Lightning as it drew closer which is when he spun up his mounted gatling gun and began firing at the thing, holding the amalgamate back with the assistance of the automated turrets which blew holes in the amalgamates ranks. He motioned for the people to get into the ships towards the back of the settlement while he tried to give them as much as time as possible until he would have to retreat as well before the settlement would be overrun ."
